Land Acknowledgement
I, Peter Vickery, live on, work on, and enjoy land along the Kwinitekw, which land is and was the unceded ancestral homeland of the Pocumtuc and Norwottuck/Nonotuck peoples, whose stewardship of the land and waterways through the generations to the present day I acknowledge and honor with gratitude. To those living peoples, and to the Nipmuc to the east, and to the Pennacook to the north, I extend my respect, and commit to learning more about their enduring relationship with the land on which I stand and to taking meaningful action in support of Native nations and communities.
